    • New York Pass Holders and Explorer Pass / Go City Card Holders can make a reservation for a bike rental here.
    • Select the number of pass holders in your party, and input your pass numbers in order to make the reservation.
    • It does require you to input your credit card number in order to complete the reservation and hold your spot for the service.
    • As long as you show up on time for the scheduled service and your passes are scanned in store prior to your departure, you will not be charged for the service.

  • What is included with my rental?

    All rentals include the 24-speed Cannondale bicycle, helmets, baskets or bike bags, bike locks and a map of Central Park!

    Do I get a map of the park?

    Yes, a map of Central Park is included with your rental. Please ask our team if you have any questions about the bike path or your adventure through the park!

    Where can I pickup my rental?

    You may start your rental from any of our three Central Park store locations including 56 W 56th Street, 111 W 110th Street or 346 W 57th Street.

    Can I drop-off at any location?

    If you’d like to transfer your rental to another store location, please let our team know when you arrive and check-in at the desk. It will be a five dollar transfer fee per bike and a slightly different procedure when you arrive in store.

    Do I have to wear a helmet?

    All persons 14 and under must be wearing a helmet while on the bike per New York City law. For anyone 15 and older, it is recommended that you wear a helmet while biking but it is not required.

    Where is the bike path?

    The Central Park Bike Path can be accessed from Center Drive, just off of 59th Street and 6th Avenue. It is a one-way pathway that runs throughout Central Park.

    Where can I lock up my bike?

    There are a number of bike racks strategically stationed throughout the park at many of the key attractions for your convenience. Please be sure to securely lock up the frame of your bike to a designated bike rack.

    Can I take the bike anywhere?

    Yes, you may certainly take the bike anywhere and are not limited to Central Park. There are a number of bike paths that run throughout Manhattan’s streets, as well as the popular, car-free Hudson River Greenway. Just ask our team for a map of the city that shows a number of popular routes when you come check-in.

    How old do I have to be to rent a bike?

    No rider under the age of 18 will be permitted to take a bike out without an adult over the age of 18 present.

    Can I ride the bike on the sidewalk?

    No, you must walk the bike on the sidewalk, or you may ride the bike on the street, in the bike lane.

We offer bikes for everyone, from one-seaters to tandem bikes. Additionally, we have baby seats and double trailers for toddlers available for families. We offer everything you need to make your exploration of Central Park successful and memorable. Additionally, our knowledgeable staff can provide you with specific routes based on your personal needs and desires.
